Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. Many people spend a long time thinking about it before contacting someone.

If you're considering working together, the first step is a free 15-minute consultation.

This is a brief conversation where we can:

  • talk about what’s bringing you to therapy

  • explore what you’re hoping for from counselling

  • discuss how I tend to approach this kind of work

  • answer any questions you might have

  • see whether it feels like a good fit

There’s no pressure or obligation to book a full session afterward. The goal is simply to help you decide whether working together feels right for you.

What Happens Next

If you decide to move forward after the consultation or if you just want to skip that step, you can schedule your first full session. Available in-person, online or phone.

The first session is an opportunity for us to:

  • set ourselves up for success

  • explore your experiences in more depth

  • understand the patterns or challenges you’re navigating

  • begin identifying what might feel helpful in our work together

Therapy moves at a pace that feels manageable for you.

  • Although not necessary, we recommend booking a 75-min session for your initial visit. The reason for this is that my introduction takes 20-30 minutes to get through which means if you book a 50-min session you will likely only have 20-30 minutes to share.

How you share is up to you—you can tell your story, i can ask guiding questions, or we can leave the context for another time and just focus on helping you survive today.

  • 50-min sessions ($160)

    75-min sessions ($240)
